Just a few moments ago, without any prior notice, Riot Games unexpectedly released a series of promotional materials introducing the new champion – Lillia, The Bashful Bloom to the League of Legends gaming community worldwide. The detailed skill set of this timid jungle champion has also been announced:
Lillia is a champion with a versatile skill set, combining slow effects, movement speed boosts, diverse damage outputs, and burst potential thanks to her passive ability, Dream Blossom. Her ultimate, Rhapsody of the Deep Woods, has the ability to put enemies to sleep over a large area, but can only be used on targets affected by the pollen from her passive, a mechanism reminiscent of Kayn’s ultimate.
Lillia’s abilities require her to disrupt and heavily influence team fights, ensuring she applies her passive effect on as many targets as possible to maximize the effectiveness of her ultimate.

Despite her fragile appearance and timid personality, Lillia is classified as a fighter, slightly leaning towards damage dealing rather than tanking. The creators at Riot designed Lillia with two main goals: to bring the control jungle playstyle back to the Summoner’s Rift and to reduce the influence of tank champions on the game’s meta.
Along with Lillia’s debut, the Summer Event: Spirit Blossom will officially launch on July 23 (which is likely the release date for this champion). Based on the current information available, we can be 100% sure that this event will explore the theme of the land of Ionia – Lillia’s birthplace, and within this event series, the new Spirit Blossom skin universe, featuring Lillia among the champions, will also be unveiled.
