The decisive and talented Caitlyn is one of the enforcers of the city of Piltover. A girl who is extremely intelligent, with a strong sense of justice and a devoted heart to the law. Armed with a magical hextech rifle, Caitlyn is a patient hunter, a nightmare for criminals throughout the city.
Born into a wealthy and influential hextech craftsman family, Caitlyn early on embraced the charm of urban life, but she preferred to spend her time in the wild southern regions. Skillfully blending in with the upper class in Piltover, as well as tracking deer in the muddy forest, most of Caitlyn’s childhood was spent outside the doors of Piltover. She can pinpoint the flight path of a bird or shoot the eye of a wild rabbit from three hundred yards away with her father’s Bilgewater repeating rifle.
However, Caitlyn’s greatest asset is her intelligence and willingness to learn from her parents, who taught her right from wrong. The technological talent that made her family rich was always tempered by her mother’s warnings about the temptations of Piltover and how its glittering promises could harden even the kindest hearts. Caitlyn paid little heed to her mother’s admonitions, for to her, Piltover was a city of beauty, an orderly place for her to enjoy after each trip to the wilderness.
Caitlyn returned home after a long journey through the jungle, only to find her house empty and ransacked. All the servants had perished, and her parents were missing without a trace. She tidied up her home before immediately setting out to search for the two.
Tracking down prey unwilling to be found within the confines of the cramped city is very different from hunting in the wild, but eventually, Caitlyn managed to trace each intruder who had invaded her home. None knew the true identity of the one who had hired them, only acting on the orders of a shadowy figure whose name began with “C.” The trail led Caitlyn to a secret hextech laboratory, where her parents had been forced to work for a rival family to save their lives. Caitlyn rescued the two, and the guards, acting on information from Caitlyn, apprehended the clan leader behind the kidnapping. She returned home with her parents and began to rebuild her life, but something inside Caitlyn had changed.
In LoL, Caitlyn is a marksman with a relatively simple playstyle and a long attack range, suitable for newcomers. She can easily push another marksman out of lane. Caitlyn relies heavily on items and basic attacks. Try to maximize your annoyance to the opponent during the laning phase and farm well. You will make your opponent cry when suffering in the early game and disappear at the end. Note that after the recent update, her base movement speed has been reduced from 330 to 325.
