The VCS Summer 2020 tournament is approaching its final stages, and one of the two representatives of Vietnamese League of Legends at the 2020 World Championship has been confirmed, which is Team Flash.
However, according to the latest information we have received, there is a 99% chance that Vietnamese teams will be unable, or more precisely, not permitted to participate in the biggest tournament of the year 2020.
The reason is that the global Covid-19 pandemic situation is still extremely complicated, and to ensure compliance with disease prevention measures, VCS teams will not be allowed to enter or exit for participation in the 2020 Worlds, held in Shanghai, China.

It is known that the Worlds 2020 will be held without an audience, and participating teams will be welcomed in the city of Shanghai and undergo a 14-day quarantine before they begin competing.
Previously, all regional League of Legends tournaments worldwide also conducted competitions online. Meanwhile, the Mid-Season Invitational 2020 was also canceled due to pandemic-related reasons.
According to the above sources, even without any representatives at Worlds 2020, the VCS Summer 2020 tournament will still continue to hold the remaining matches, including the lower bracket playoffs and the grand final to determine the champion as well as specific rankings to complete the season.
OFFICIAL: VCS will definitely have no representatives at Worlds 2020
We will continuously update all information related to this matter as quickly and accurately as possible.
