As we know, April 1st is also known as April Fools’ Day. Originating from a historical event, this day allows people to freely tell harmless jokes to one another. While some of these jokes may contain elements of truth, the general rule is that these pranks should not harm anyone.
Of course, the League of Legends community is no exception to this trend. One of the most notable and heavily invested jokes involved Faker. Specifically, an edited image of a notification from the LCK about the match between T1 and KT Rolster circulated within the League of Legends community. The original content of this notification is as follows:

“This is an announcement regarding the allegations of Faker using doping in the T1 – KT match on March 25. According to LCK rules, the use of any substances is strictly prohibited, and both the player and the team will face immediate penalties. Two days before the T1 – KT match, Faker was suspected of using banned substances, but there was not enough evidence, so the match proceeded. After that, Faker participated in the T1 – Gen.G match with a favorable score for T1. Immediately after the match, Faker was accused of doping, and the report came from coach kkOma. The LCK investigated, and the other players will not be penalized, but the T1 – KT and T1 – Gen.G matches will have to be replayed. T1 must substitute a reserve player to play Mid Lane. Tickets for the rematch will be free.”

As a player respected by almost the entire League of Legends community, known for his utmost professionalism and refusal to engage in trouble or drama, it is certain that Faker would never violate such prohibitive rules. However, many viewers were left bewildered upon reading this, especially with Faker’s name mentioned. On the other hand, others expressed amusement and considered it a cleverly crafted April Fools’ joke.
