Alongside the transfer situation of teams worldwide, especially in the LCK – LPL regions, VCS audiences are also paying great attention to the teams in VCS. This season will certainly see a lot of significant changes. For instance, names like SBTC Esports and Saigon Buffalo have completely disappeared from Vietnamese League of Legends. Meanwhile, the remaining teams may undergo strong roster overhauls, notably GAM Esports.

As we know, recently, GAM officially parted ways with three players: Zin, playcool, and Slayder. Excluding Zin and playcool who could no longer compete for their positions, Slayder was a surprising case as the famed ADC of VCS had a decent Worlds run and had only been with GAM for six months. Moreover, it was reported that GAM would also say goodbye to Kati – the Mid Laner and an important factor in GAM’s “top three members”.

Recently, news that GAM might also part ways with Kati has gained more credibility through the latest post on the team’s official social media. Specifically, GAM posted a photo with the caption: “Memories are what make us smile, then tear up right after.” The photo only featured two players, Kiaya and Levi, and none of the other members, including the coaching staff, were present.

Many viewers speculate that this could be a subtle hint from GAM that they will only retain Levi and Kiaya. Although Levi is getting older (he will turn 27 next year), he remains an experienced captain and the team’s spiritual leader. Meanwhile, Kiaya can be seen as GAM’s future as he increasingly shows the stature of a great player, knowing how to shine at the right moments and being an indispensable part of the current GAM roster. However, many fans also worry that with GAM parting with so many players, it has yet to show anyone capable of wearing the iconic yellow and black jersey.

But every party must come to an end, and GAM must prepare for the future. Therefore, VCS audiences may witness a significant overhaul for the yellow-black team and an exciting transfer season in the upcoming period.
