GAM Exits LCP 2025 with the Worst Record Among 3 VCS Teams
From being the front-runner and the biggest hope of VCS at LCP 2025, many viewers even rated GAM as the potential champion, but everything turned 180 degrees. Recently, GAM faced another defeat against TALON in the losers’ bracket and had to leave the tournament with the worst record among the 3 VCS teams: They are the only representative from Vietnam’s League of Legends that failed to win a single match against the PCS representatives.

Notably, the familiar scenario for GAM is that they only truly change their attitude, performance, and recently even personnel when pushed into a corner. In game 2, they brought Emo back and Levi played a pure tank champion (the fourth match in GAM’s entire LCP 2025 journey). The VCS representative played exceptionally well, which only increased the disappointment of the Vietnamese League of Legends audience.

In this context, only one player from GAM received praise, and that is Emo. The young player only played 2 matches but performed at least at a solid level. Using familiar champions like Yone and Taliyah, his contributions were significant, and many fans shifted their blame onto GAM for not allowing Emo to play earlier.

VCS Fans Demand Urgent Changes from GAM
GAM’s performance is clearly hard to accept for VCS fans. Not only because they are the current VCS champions but also because the players GAM has chosen currently are almost the best in their respective positions.
However, GAM’s faults throughout LCP 2025 stemmed from their biggest hopes. Aress was not compatible with the meta and plummeted, Levi could blame his age, and Kiaya was inconsistent. The only stable player for GAM seems to be Artemis, but “one swallow does not make a summer.”

And GAM has truly paid the price. Of course, LCP 2025 has not closed the door on GAM’s opportunities to participate in MSI and Worlds. But if they continue to play as they did in this tournament, the likelihood that GAM will continue to “regret” is high, especially when teams like MVKE and TSW are showing clear progress.
