As we know, in recent days, the drama surrounding Zeros has caused quite a stir in the VCS community. It’s understandable since Zeros is a well-known figure with a large fanbase in the Vietnamese League of Legends scene. Moreover, this issue is related to Korean rank accounts and the negative issues within the esports community. These are sensitive topics and therefore, have attracted special attention from fans of Vietnamese LoL.
Recently, Korean streamers and regional media have addressed the issue surrounding Zeros’ situation. Notably, according to the accuser, he had spoken out about the incident about a month ago and had also contacted accounts “allegedly” belonging to Zeros. In fact, there were games where he encountered Zeros and the “actors” of the former SBTC Esports star, resulting in altered match outcomes. Additionally, the Korean streamer mentioned fees for the “actors,” depending on the match results.
Many opinions suggest that the consequences of this situation may not be limited to Zeros’ drama and its impact on the streamer. Due to the rampant issue of too many “actors” and game sabotage, Riot Korea decided to withdraw all Korean accounts provided for training teams. This has directly affected the quality of players, as the best training environment has been blocked.
Even team owners have no solutions as Riot appears to be very decisive. Zeros himself had multiple Korean rank accounts banned before the drama exploded. With the situation of Zeros being reported by LCK media on various information platforms, it is highly likely that Riot Korea will intervene in the future. There are concerns that Riot may never allow VCS players to have access to Korean rank accounts again. For those who may not know, LPL also had their accounts revoked but were later “unlocked.”
Clearly, Zeros’ actions are impacting not just an individual but the entire VCS region. Not to mention, if Riot Korea becomes aware of the situation, the international community may already hold a negative view of the Vietnamese League of Legends scene.
