A rumor involving Ruler and Scout has been exposed as false
In the days when Ruler faced significant troubles, public opinion regarding the Gen.G AD was divided with a mix of support, opposition, and neutrality. Notably, the narrative didn’t just revolve around Ruler, as even seemingly unrelated players were pulled into the story. For instance, a rumor surfaced involving Scout, with Ruler and Gen.G fans claiming that the current LCK champion had helped Scout settle debts with EDG, thus avoiding any financial misconduct.

However, it appears the truth is quite the opposite, as LPL fans and Scout supporters have presented strong evidence to counter the false rumor related to one of the superstars considered an icon of League of Legends in China.
According to Zuo Wu, the former manager of LNG, there’s no truth to the claim that Ruler contributed a large sum (equivalent to about 50 billion VND) to assist Scout in dealing with the situation (at the time, Scout was on LNG and preparing for the World Championship). The debts and troubles Scout had with his former company were actually resolved with support from LNG.

In fact, as Zuo Wu and LPL viewers confirm, only GALA and JieJie contributed financially to help the mid-laner who was with NS at the time. GALA was a teammate who was playing alongside Scout at LNG, while JieJie was a former teammate who had fought alongside Scout for many years at EDG, and both achieved the milestone of the 2021 World Championship together.
The Ruler Incident Will Last a Long Time
Given the sensitive issues, even legal matters involved, it’s unlikely that the Ruler incident will be resolved quickly. In this context, Gen.G will also suffer considerable losses, and no one can guarantee that Ruler will perform at his highest level, as evidenced by the recent loss to KT.
