Revealing the Total Debt of the Former World Champion
In recent days, the LPL transfer drama between Scout and LNG – JDG has shown no signs of resolution. In fact, as of now, these teams have not announced their rosters for the new season, despite the transfer window nearing its end. Recently, media from China revealed the total debt of the former World Champion from 2021.

According to reports, the total amount that Scout owes to resolve issues ahead of the 2024 World Championship could have reached 21 million USD (~ over 553 billion VND). Scout’s debts are said to come from many sources, including managers, agents, this player’s brokerage company, and members of LNG.
Among them, notable names include GALA, Zika, WeiWei, Hang, JieJie. Even Zuo Wu (former manager of LNG) and some other officials from the team are on the list of Scout’s “creditors”.

It can be said that Scout is currently the “King of Debt” in the LPL. The amount of 21 million USD, when converted to Chinese currency, exceeds 152 million CNY. And any team that picks up Scout will likely have to “shoulder” this debt as well.
But the teammates of the former World Champion are the “most suffering” ones
According to LPL media, the “most suffering” person in this story is GALA. Some sources indicate that to ensure Scout could participate with LNG in the 2024 World Championship, GALA is the one who lent the most. In fact, he even mortgaged his house in Shanghai to lend money to his friend.
However, Scout’s agency has stated that there was no deadline set for the repayment of the loan. Furthermore, this representative confirmed that the money had been handed over to LNG, which is also mentioned in the lawsuit from the “Suzhou Unicorns”. Thus, only after the lawsuit concludes, could GALA possibly reclaim his house.

Facing the risk of leaving LNG, losing a close teammate, and having his home mortgaged, it seems GALA is truly the one experiencing the tragedy in this transfer drama between Scout and LNG.
