Former VCS Star Struggles Ahead of New Season
Currently, regions are gradually finalizing their rosters, except for LCK, which completed its transfer market long ago. VCS is no exception as teams like GAM, MVKE, and TSW are also starting to prepare for the new season. In this context, it is surprising that former VCS star and once regarded as a Super Marksman – Slayder has announced he will take a break in the first half of the season due to a lack of suitable teams.

In recent seasons, it can be said that Slayder has made some bold career decisions, but they have not led to success. After leaving the Arab League, he struggled significantly and even had to join Chiefs Esports Club – the weakest team in the LCP region. Of course, with such a team, Slayder could not achieve anything, and Chiefs ended their 2025 season with only 8 wins.
With performance not being particularly high, and at this point, Slayder can be considered an “elder statesman”, the chances of him being recruited by major teams seem almost non-existent. If he takes a break in the first half of the season, it appears increasingly impossible for Slayder to find a new home afterward.

VCS Fans Are Increasingly Harsh on Slayder
Under Slayder’s post, there are surprisingly many “harsh” comments directed at the former marksman of GAM. Many fans believe that the end of Slayder’s career has come. His continuous poor team choices have caused him to gradually “lose value” in the eyes of prominent figures and fans in the region.

Moreover, since his noisy departure from GAM, Slayder has also been involved in many dramas that have caused him to lose points in the eyes of fans despite being an incredibly talented marksman of VCS. The chances are high that Slayder may indeed not be able to return, as there are no guarantees that his performance will remain at its peak after more than half a season of rest, nor is it certain that Slayder will find a satisfactory new team.
