Among the champions in League of Legends (LoL), Lee Sin is considered a symbol of flashy gameplay that requires extremely high skill. This champion possesses a myriad of skill combos to deal damage or kick the enemy’s carry back to the team. Many LoL players are determined to master Lee Sin to execute such stunning skill sequences.

The foundation of the skill combos that Lee Sin possesses is the ability for players to place wards and dash to that location with the W – Safeguard skill. Performing this action quickly and smoothly allows Lee Sin players to efficiently engage their opponents. However, this action sequence has inadvertently been disrupted by Riot Games in the current 13.9 patch.

Specifically, Riot Games fixed a bug where Lee Sin’s W skill sometimes would not activate if the quick casting feature was enabled. However, this fix has resulted in the speed of executing the warding and Safeguard action sequence slowing down considerably. Many high-level players have shared that it feels like playing Lee Sin with high latency.

As a result, Lee Sin has become significantly weaker in the current 13.9 patch. Players feel that the ability to dash with W has become too predictable and impacts Lee Sin’s early game strength. The latency from the aforementioned action sequence also makes it much harder to kick the enemy’s carry back. Consequently, Lee Sin’s win rate at this time is only 46.5% (according to U.gg).

In short, Lee Sin’s inability to quickly execute the warding and Safeguard action sequence has left many LoL players quite frustrated. Hopefully, Riot Games will soon find a solution to this issue to help Lee Sin regain his original power.
