As a long-standing champion in League of Legends, Fiddlesticks has gradually become outdated, both in character design and skill set. Despite having a flashy name like “The Harbinger of Doom,” in-game, Fiddlesticks was far from terrifying; in fact, his odd walking style made him more comical than scary. Hence, this scarecrow, along with Volibear, was voted by the community for a rework this year.

Just a few hours ago on the PBE test server, the first easter eggs of the “new” Fiddlesticks were discovered by gamers. The Skin Spotlight channel even recorded images and actions of this champion, which are truly horrifying and feature extremely frightening effects, fitting Fiddlesticks’ lore perfectly.

With the current information, we can be sure that the new Fiddlesticks will have a truly terrifying appearance, accompanied by skill effects that feel like they came straight out of a horror movie. However, aside from the signature ultimate ability, Crowstorm, Riot Games has not provided any details about the remaining skills. Hopefully, this rework will fix Fiddlesticks’ current fatal flaw of being unsuitable for any position in the game and only being annoying to play against in … ARAM.
In addition to the skillset, all of Fiddlesticks’ skins will be completely upgraded, especially the Legendary skin, Fiddlesticks Surprise Party. This was confirmed by a member of the League of Legends design team, Riot Reav3, suggesting that the release of the reworked Fiddlesticks by Riot Games is only a matter of time.
