Having been passionate about gaming for a long time, and even having been attached to Liên Quân Mobile since its early days, let’s listen to the interesting stories and insights of this female streamer on her journey to pursue her career:
Hello Bích Vân, can you introduce a bit about yourself?
I would like to introduce myself, my real name is Đinh Kim Bích Vân, born on January 5, 2001. I am currently living and working in Huế, mainly in streaming, and I also own the Bích Vân Channel with 113k likes.
It seems that Bích Vân is currently fully focused on streaming. How did you start this job?
Currently, I am a streamer under Facebook Gaming Creator, I often stream the game Liên Quân Mobile. The opportunity to enter this job came quite unexpectedly; my boyfriend “invited” me to stream, and then the recruitment team of V Gaming noticed me. I’m very happy that I passed the selection round and smoothly became a member of the V Gaming family.
What does a typical day of a streamer like Vân look like? What is the most interesting thing you feel about this job?
During the first few months as a streamer, my daily routine was quite disrupted. Any new streamer needs to work twice or three times harder to catch up with those who came before them. Generally, my day initially revolved around gaming, resting, and eating.
Now my work has become smoother, so I have more free time for outings, hanging out with friends, and spending time with family.
Currently in Vietnam, being a streamer is a very hot job attracting many young people, with a large number of game streamers, and the competition is quite fierce. Do you have confidence in yourself that you will find success in this “saturated” streamer landscape?
Among all the games I’ve played, Liên Quân Mobile is the one I like the most. The most important thing is to always be confident, make an effort to enhance my strengths, and learn from the “predecessors”.
Of course, my goal is always to reach the level of success of those who came before me, but that is certainly not easy, and I will have to work hard a lot more.
Before entering the profession, did Bích Vân ever think that she would work and earn money from her passion for gaming?
In fact, I have been very fond of games and have long hoped to have a job related to this field, so becoming a streamer feels like a destiny for me. This job not only allows me to continue playing games but also provides additional income to help my family and save for my life.
As a girl who loves gaming and dives into a gaming-related field, does Bích Vân receive support from her family?
Being a girl who is “addicted” to games will definitely attract attention. Since I was 16, my parents have shown concern because they saw me playing games all day. They advised me to quit gaming, but I firmly said no, which made my parents feel sad many times.
I feel guilty towards my family, but I think to make up for it, there is nothing more important than proving my worth, showing that the path I chose is the right one.
Later, after witnessing my efforts, my parents began to support the career I chose, and as for my boyfriend, he is both my lover and my colleague.
If you did not become a streamer, what would be your biggest dream?
If I were to part ways with gaming, I might pursue my dream of opening a small spa. Besides that, I am also doing a few other jobs related to marketing.
Besides your passion for gaming, do you have any other hobbies?
Being a girl, besides gaming, of course, my biggest hobby is taking care of my appearance.
