Since Riot officially took over and rebooted the VCS tournament, there have been noticeable “changes” in the direct management team, specifically among the hosts and commentators. Of course, with the audience accustomed to well-known faces like MC Mai Dora, commentators Hoàng Luân and Văn Tùng… the introduction of new personalities will inevitably spark mixed opinions. Among these, the most notable is probably female MC Remind – the girl who co-hosted the tournament VCS in 2023 alongside MC Minh Nghi and MC Mai Dora. However, as we move into 2024, with the tournament set to kick off, the VCS organizing committee announced that only MC Remind would be performing the duties.

However, despite having a bright appearance and good speaking skills as a streamer, MC Remind has not really left a significant impression, at least while she was performing her duties. The “last straw” came when she mistakenly called BeanJ by the name Taki twice in a row during an interview at VCS Spring 2024. After more than a year since officially taking on duties at Vietnam’s largest League of Legends tournament, the audience’s patience has reached its limits. On many forums, the majority expressed their disapproval of MC Remind continuing her role. Other names related to her, such as MC Mai Dora and MC Minh Nghi, were also dragged into the discussion.

Recently, the beautiful female MC of VCS, after a period of silence, made her first post in the early days of the new year. Remind’s appearance seems somewhat different compared to before the Tet holiday. Perhaps the female MC has changed her hairstyle and received some “help” from beauty apps, making her look brighter than usual. However, there are still many opinions from a segment of the VCS audience recalling her mistakes before Tet.

Being a public figure, MC Remind is likely aware of the pressure she must bear. But perhaps, the necessary pressure is a factor that can help the female MC reflect on herself and improve, preparing for the upcoming phase of VCS.
