As we know, starting in 2024, Riot will add a new privilege for renowned League of Legends players, namely the Hall of Fame. Like all Hall of Fames in other fields or sports, the Hall of Fame for League of Legends will honor teams and players who have achieved high accomplishments in League of Legends, having significant influence… Of course, in every League of Legends forum in Vietnam and around the world, the first name that comes to many people’s minds right now is Faker.

A few days ago, Faker revealed a “surprise” that Riot might offer to League of Legends fans eagerly awaiting the T1 Ahri skin. However, Faker’s revelations have left fans skeptical. This is because no one knows what the “surprise” could be. There are many rumors that Riot might create a special skin for Faker since he is the player with the most World Championship titles. But there are also reports that the T1 Ahri skin will not be released because Faker knows that in 2024, Ahri will have a Legendary skin.

However, due to this, the “dream” of T1 Ahri for Faker in the Hall of Fame in 2024 could potentially be shattered before it even begins. The first reason is that Ahri will have a Legendary skin this year. If another skin for Faker is released, the Legendary Ahri skin will likely be immediately unpopular. This is definitely something Riot does not want at all.

The second reason comes from the fact that Faker has many champions that are considered “signature champs” but Ahri is certainly not on that list. For example, Faker might “please the fans,” but it is unclear whether Riot’s regulations allow players to choose. If players are allowed to choose, they will have to discuss their skins for the Hall of Fame with Riot (if applicable). Therefore, there is no basis to believe that Faker will own the Hall of Fame Ahri skin, at least not in 2024.

For these reasons, perhaps fans should wait until T1 can complete the “Golden Road” (perhaps in 2024). At that point, the T1 Ahri skin might be more feasible than waiting for the Hall of Fame version of this skin. Because, at present, Riot has not confirmed that there will be skins for players entering the Hall of Fame, only speculation from the League of Legends community.
