Recently, a new server has been introduced by Riot for players from the APAC (Asia-Pacific) regions to practice in preparation for the new season. This super server aims to compensate somewhat for the disadvantage faced by regions like VCS and PCS, which receive new updates very late, leaving little time for preparation. As a result, many players from VCS and PCS have joined this server. Even players from LPL are taking the opportunity to train on the APAC super server while the Demacia Cup is still ongoing.

Recently, several VCS players had the chance to team up with LPL player Tian in a match on the APAC server. Specifically, the situation arose when players like Froggy, Kiaya, and Tian found themselves in a match together, and SofM was also present. For those who may not know, SofM is one of Tian’s closest friends in the LPL, and the 2019 World Champion views SofM as a “mentor” who helps him improve his jungle play. Tian has never hesitated to support anyone, even former teammate GimGoon, when SofM found himself embroiled in a controversy with a Korean player.

However, Froggy, seemingly unaware of the tension, chimed in with a chat saying he was “I’m Doinb at home here.” In this case, Froggy used a familiar meme to refer to lesser versions of the “original” high-tier player. The issue escalated when, among the numerous talented mid-laners, Froggy specifically mentioned Doinb. Doinb had previously been rumored to be involved in drama with Tian. Froggy’s teasing clearly irritated Tian, who even requested: “Let’s not play anymore. Just open (give up) and lose already.”

Meanwhile, SofM also showed clear discomfort as he found himself in an awkward position due to Tian being his close friend. After explaining to Tian that Froggy “is a fan of Doinb,” SofM felt helpless regarding the joke made by the younger player. Even though SofM knew it was just a joke, he was unsure how to address the situation with Tian.

Fortunately, the match continued smoothly, and Tian’s team ended up “dominating” SofM. However, it was clear that Tian was not satisfied with this outcome, subtly confirming that the drama with Doinb from years past was not just a rumor but had indeed occurred and was quite serious between the two players who were once very close teammates.
