The final match between T1 and Weibo Gaming will be the last match of the World Championship 2023 and the professional League of Legends scene. After this match, all tournaments will officially conclude. And of course, in such a critically important match like the final, every factor will be considered and connected for the audience to gain insights and make their own predictions about the final result. Recently, both teams flipped a coin to choose sides. According to the announced results, WBG will choose the Blue side and the Red side will belong to T1.

Many may already know that choosing a side is very important, especially at the 2023 World Championship, where the Blue side had a win rate of up to 80% – a nearly absolute figure after the Swiss round ended. However, according to some previously mentioned information, T1 has a very high win rate on the Red side (also 80%) in all their matches, following their victory over LNG Esports. It can be said that T1 is one of the rare teams that can adapt regardless of the side they choose. This is all thanks to their diverse champion pool and the varied strategies of the players.

However, the audience has also noticed another detail that could be a sign indicating T1 could indeed win the 2023 World Championship. Specifically, at this year’s World Championship, T1 has lost every coin flip for side selection, or more accurately, T1 has had no right to choose sides for all their BO5 matches. This is completely different from the World Championship 2022, where T1 won all their side selections.

With this “record” of losing all coin flips, many fans believe that T1 will also have results opposite to their performance in World Championship 2022. Last year, they lost in the finals against DRX. This year, with T1 showing more caution and flexible gameplay, along with the “psychological” aspect of side selection, fans can certainly hope for a more positive outcome for Faker and his teammates.

Of course, this still depends on the focus and performance of the players. The ball is in their court, and T1 players need to give it their all to finish the final stretch of the 2023 World Championship.
