Community Discovers Controversial “Commonality” Between T1 and HLE
Recently, T1 officially addressed the situation concerning Zeus and the subsequent controversial decisions surrounding Gumayusi being benched. Notably, the issue with Zeus has faded over time, and even HLE fans have become less concerned about these scandals. From this, several League of Legends viewers have noticed something: despite both being embroiled in the noisy transfer saga of Zeus, T1 and HLE both waited for a while after the situation calmed down before making moves to “stir up” the drama again.

Accordingly, after the incident exploded, HLE maintained almost absolute silence in the face of criticism from T1 fans and information from CEO Joe Marsh. However, immediately after Zeus and HLE won the LCK Cup and subsequently the First Stand, this team and The Play began to “counterattack.” Clearly, instead of intervening to clarify matters when the incident just began, HLE and The Play allowed Zeus to “take the heat” until after their victory to speak up. If HLE had lost to Gen.G in the LCK Cup, no one knows whether they would have responded to T1’s information.

As for T1, they also took similar actions, albeit in a different direction. Specifically, right after defeating HLE and securing their spot at MSI 2025, this team officially issued an apology to Zeus as well as shared their thoughts on the situation regarding Gumayusi. Notably, both Zeus, T1 fans, and Gumayusi have faced negative feedback throughout this time. In fact, on the very day that extreme anti-fans of Gumayusi sent 9 protest trucks to the SK and T1 headquarters (which also marked Faker’s career anniversary), T1 did not take any action.

But in the end, Gumayusi still has not received the treatment he deserves from T1
If the matter concerning Zeus may have closed and Zeus himself (perhaps) is no longer too concerned, the issue with Gumayusi seems to remain unresolved. The T1Gall group still exists, and no one dares to say that after MSI 2025, Gumayusi will still be valued. Ultimately, players and fans remain the “final victims” of T1’s dramas from the beginning of the year until now.
