Faker’s Nautilus Has a Hitbox Too ‘Illusory’ for Canada, Players Urge Riot to Take Action

Faker's Nautilus is also more unusual than usual.

Since the start of MSI 2023, there has been a highly favored matchup that has proven effective in practice: Mid Lane Nautilus. Originally a pure Support champion, Nautilus’s position change has caught the attention of many players. Before heading into MSI 2023, names like Chovy and Faker had already tested Mid Lane Nautilus in the Korean ranks.

Recently, after the new EU server launch, Faker continued to experiment with the Mid Lane Nautilus pick. His match was streamed by a male streamer. In a situation attacking the opponent’s Mid Lane, Faker’s Nautilus executed a Q – Dredge Line with an incredibly illusory hitbox (the range at which the skill can affect the opponent). At that moment, the opposing Talon used his E – Assassin’s Path to dash past the turret, but Faker’s anchor still caught him. In fact, the animation afterward even showed the chain crossing over the turret despite Faker throwing the anchor in a straight line.

The streamer, after witnessing this situation, exclaimed: “That must be Faker’s account, right? Because only Faker could have such an ‘illusory’ hitbox. He is the GOAT, that’s why he is the GOAT. It really is Faker.” That situation ended with Faker securing a solo kill on the opposing Talon.

Observing the hitbox from Nautilus’s Q in Faker’s hands being so ‘illusory’, many viewers joked that Riot needs to nerf Nautilus immediately to prevent Faker from using him in MSI 2023. Some even suggested that Riot should ban this champion altogether in the upcoming MSI matches.

Of course, these are just light-hearted opinions from fans. After all, there are many champions in League of Legends that have a larger skill range than what players see. And Faker certainly does not exploit any game bugs or any factors to seek victory.
