Entering their second match day at LCK Spring 2022, T1 fans were hopeful for a victory against Fredit BRION – a team that has also seen significant changes during the last season’s transfer window. This match was particularly noteworthy as LCK fans were eager to see how “Sir” Morgan would perform after leaving Chovy’s side and donning a new jersey.

However, those who regularly followed LCK Summer 2021 would know that BRO always performs remarkably well against major opponents, and the team’s newcomers have also embraced this spirited mentality. In game 1, BRO consistently challenged T1 throughout the match, with “Sir” Morgan and his teammates managing resources effectively. Lava and Hena’s strong engagements helped BRO secure an unexpected lead.

Nevertheless, Faker and his teammates quickly regrouped to head into the decisive game 2. BRO continued to demonstrate their resilience, even though they were at a disadvantage in team fights compared to T1. “Sir” Morgan and his team managed to steal 2 consecutive Barons from T1 thanks to two brilliant moments from UmTi and Hena. However, Faker and his young teammates still maintained good control over the match, securing their third Baron and the Elder Dragon, bringing the game back into balance.

Moving into the decisive game 3, T1 played cautiously in true LCK fashion. They gradually suffocated all of BRO’s efforts, from turret control to major objectives. Hena and Lava frequently made mistakes. Although the match lasted over 40 minutes, viewers witnessed how Faker and his team methodically dismantled BRO.

At the end of the match, T1 secured their second consecutive victory. However, they still need to improve their objective control skills. BRO came close to causing an upset, and teams like Gen.G Esports or DWG KIA would certainly not give T1 the chance to “turn the tables” as they did against “Sir” Morgan and his teammates.
