After intense Qualifiers and Regional Finals, the top 4 best teams in the two games League of Legends and Valorant representing the Southern – Central and Northern regions have advanced to the National Finals to compete for the championship: FPT Esports Club Hanoi – HUTECH Tiragonest (Valorant), FPT Esports Club Hanoi – HUFLIT Xin Giải Nhì (LoL).

The finals were held at OEG Stadium (Chợ Mơ Trade Center, Hai Bà Trưng, Hanoi). This venue is a proud project of Ocean Entertainment Group, being one of the most modern esports arenas in the country. The standards established at this arena meet the highest international requirements.

Hundreds of students and spectators queued early to receive check-in gifts, participate in sponsor booth activities, and enter lucky draws before the tournament began, as well as get an early experience with the “powerful” PCs at OEG Stadium.

Before the matches, representatives from the Vietnam Olympic Committee – the policy sponsor of the tournament handed commemorative medals to the organizers and players from the 4 best teams entering the National Finals.

Truly deserving to be the best teams in the country, having overcome challenging rounds and hundreds of strong opponents, in this final and most important round, the players delivered spectacular and intense performances, bringing explosive and emotional matches to the viewers.

In addition to the fierce clashes between the competing teams, there were also exciting showmatches featuring KOLs, cosplayers, and audience members competing in the game Metal Slug – the latest release from VNGGames.

With the runner-up position, FPT Esports Club Hanoi (LoL) or HUTECH Tiragonest (Valorant) may not have the opportunity to stand on the winners’ podium at NSOC 2023, but they have proven to us that greatness is not just based on the final position on the leaderboard. Their journey is a testament to teamwork and self-belief.

This is a complete ending for all teams participating in the National Student Esports Tournament, who contributed to making this a successful season. It can be said that NSOC 2023 is one of the few esports tournaments for students that have been invested in a systematic, professional, elaborate, and grand manner.

With the brilliant success of the first season, it is hoped that NSOC will become an annual tournament, a professional playground held every year specifically for the student community in Vietnam, and will soon expand further, providing Vietnamese students the opportunity to interact and compete with students in the region and the world.
