With each new version of Teamfight Tactics, team compositions experience shifts in power, with some teams gaining strength while others weaken, thus forming the game’s meta. Naturally, in an ideal scenario, you might have access to key champions early on that fit the meta to build your strategy, but you won’t always be so lucky and must adapt to what the game provides.

A high-ranking player in North America seems to have encountered this unfortunate situation a bit too often, so he created a composition to counter those “bad luck” moments by utilizing units outside the meta that are still powerful. This player, known in-game as TinMan354, named his innovative composition Space Jam! or humorously referred to as “God of Supplements” as it revolves around Darius – the centerpiece of the entire setup.

True to its name, the God of Supplements composition relies on Darius’s ability to deal massive damage early on to eliminate opponents. Combined with the recent patch changes that increased damage from surviving units, this composition can indeed strike fast and finish off greedy opponents waiting for late-game power.
According to this player, the key units in the composition include 4 Cosmic units: Xin Zhao, Rakan, Kassadin, and Ashe, along with Jayce and Darius to gain the Pirate buff and money-hacking ability. The Cosmic units used all possess strong area control or single-target skills, and their lifesteal ability greatly benefits Darius, allowing him to survive longer in fights and take down enemies.

The way this player builds his team is also quite special; at the beginning of the game, you should prioritize acquiring strong 1-2 cost units, ideally getting Xin Zhao and Rakan early, while Graves is another strong unit you can use. After stage 2 of the game ends, you should aim to reach level 5 and have a 2-star Darius, which will maximize your advantage as you transition into the mid-game.
During this phase, saving up to 50 gold is crucial. After that, level up to level 6 and find ways to roll slowly to maintain the 50 gold threshold while collecting important units. The most important thing during this stage is not to rush to level 7; you may have plenty of gold, but obtaining 3-star units like Darius, Rakan, and Xin Zhao, who are 2-cost, is paramount.

Once you have the 2-cost champions at 3 stars, only then should you consider leveling up to 7. The slow roll cycle continues, but this time your goal will be to find ways to upgrade 3-cost units like Jayce and Kassadin to 3 stars. If you can get Ashe to 3 stars as well, that’s great, but if not, it’s not a problem.
In the late game, if you still have enough gold, level up to 8 and add supplementary damage or control units to your composition like Wukong or Jhin… With the “God of Supplements” team only having 6 main units, you can add various combinations when you reach higher levels, as long as you have enough health and the gold to do so.

Regarding items, damage items for Darius are extremely important; remember that Darius’s skill can also crit, so the two key items are Infinity Edge and Guardian Angel for this playstyle. For other units, the specific items aren’t overly crucial; giving Jayce a Storm Bow is a good idea.

Overall, this Darius-centric composition is incredibly unique and has a lot of potential to be strong; just the fact that your units are not contested by opponents is already a significant advantage. If you find yourself in a match where you have a well-equipped Darius, then the “God of Supplements” team above couldn’t be more fitting.
