After T1’s victory over DragonX in Round 2 of the LCK Spring Playoffs 2020, the Korean League of Legends community shared an interesting clip capturing the reactions of two former players, Wolf and Ambition, during a pivotal moment in the first game.
Specifically, at the 24th minute of the first game in the BO5 series, Faker executed a spectacular Baron steal with Akali right under the noses of the DragonX players, turning around a game that was in favor of DRX and helping T1 win the opening match.
Wolf, as a die-hard T1 fan, obviously couldn’t hide his excitement and kept shouting: “We did it! We did it! Take it easy! That’s right! I knew those guys would manage to steal it (the Baron)!”
However, the reaction from Ambition – someone who has no connection to T1 – is what really stands out. Ambition was streaming on Twitch and reacting to the match between T1 and DragonX, stating it was to “study the opponent of Gen.G in the finals,” but the expressions on his face showed his bias towards T1 despite his claims.

In a previous situation, T1 lost a team fight near the dragon pit, losing 3 players and allowing DRX to approach the Baron. If DRX successfully secured the Baron, the game would become extremely unfavorable for T1.
At this point, Ambition’s face showed clear signs of worry, as he repeatedly lamented: “Oh no!” and his facial muscles twitched in tension.

Subsequently, DragonX called for a Baron while T1 was a player down, but even the regular viewers could see that all 5 DRX members were low on health, while T1 players were about to respawn. In fact, the team had 3 Teleports available and could reach the Baron pit in a matter of seconds.
Ambition assessed that DRX was too reckless in this situation, and when Faker respawned and used Teleport to approach the Baron, Ambition continued to stutter in predicting a “disaster” outcome for DRX.
As a result, with 5 low-health champions, DRX was surrounded and trapped in the Baron pit by 3 T1 members, with Faker’s Akali diving into the enemy formation, taking down Pyosik and stealing the Baron, leading to the collapse of DragonX amidst Ambition’s joyous laughter.

The former Gen.G captain even enthusiastically shared with fans: “I knew it! DragonX was too reckless in trying to take the Baron; they shouldn’t have done that.”
Witnessing Ambition’s reactions on stream, fans couldn’t help but chuckle at how he was increasingly revealing his fandom for Faker, despite often teasing him.
Some viewers who were Gen.G fans even playfully scolded Ambition, asking, “Why are you cheering for the opponent as passionately as you would for your own team?”
Everyone knows Ambition has a great respect for Faker and enjoys mentioning him on stream, despite the fact that they were once fierce rivals during his playing days, but perhaps he forgot that if T1 defeated DRX (at the time of the stream), then T1 would be Gen.G’s opponent in the finals, right?
