DWG KIA Breaks Multiple Personal Records After LCK Championship: Khan Greatly Second Only to Faker in the Regional Arena

With a devastating performance and substantial support from… Faker, DWG KIA clinched the LCK Summer 2021 championship after defeating T1 with a score of 3-1, officially becoming the number one seed from LCK for the 2021 World Championship.

Having dominated League of Legends in Korea for the past year and a half, this championship is not just a simple victory in a regional tournament, but it also brings countless personal records for the members of DK, contributing to the team’s journey to becoming one of the greatest teams in professional League of Legends history.

ShowMaker becomes the 17th player in LCK to reach 1000 kills. He is also the fastest player to achieve 1000 kills in the history of the top Korean League of Legends tournament, taking only 3 years to reach this milestone (since being promoted to LCK in 2019). Meanwhile, Faker, who leads the kill record in LCK, took 3 and a half years to reach 1000 kills.

Khan officially surpasses Bengi to take sole possession of 2nd place in the list of players with the most LCK championships, with 6 titles (2 with DragonX, 2 with T1, and 2 with DWG KIA). He is only behind Faker (9 titles) and ahead of Bengi (5 titles). Khan and Bengi are also the players with a 100% win rate in LCK finals. In his post-match interview, Khan confirmed once again that the LCK Summer 2021 finals would be his last match in the LCK.
