The legend of SKT T1 – Bang has to speak a truth about his old team
In the first game of the “do-or-die” match between T1 and DK, it can be said that T1 lost very “helplessly” and in fact, anyone knowledgeable about League of Legends can assert that T1 made some very difficult draft choices. T1’s picks were hard to coordinate, and Gumayusi having to use Ziggs diminished his strengths. Even Bang – the legendary ADC of SKT T1 had to share some “sorrowful” thoughts.
Bang is extremely confused as T1 loses to DK right in the opening game.
Accordingly, the former legend of SKT T1 commented: “Regarding this game, it is really hard to guess what they were thinking. Maybe they can solve the problem. You know, if a team has an issue that we don’t know what it is, it can be even more dangerous.”
But it seems T1 has gradually addressed the issues
But alongside Bang’s somewhat “gloomy” sharing, there is a truth that T1 showed in this match that they also had strategic calculations and, more importantly, the spirit and performance of the players are recovering. After a poor opening game, T1 managed to regroup, led by Oner’s shining performance as a foundation. These displays helped T1 secure three consecutive victories afterward to earn a spot at the 2025 World Championship.
But currently, another extremely important task has been completed by T1.
In addition, T1 boldly experimented with unusual drafts and it truly paid off. Besides DK continuously making mistakes and allowing T1’s players to execute their playstyle, it cannot be denied that T1’s performance in the DK match was a stark contrast to their performance the previous week.
Coming up, T1 will face another equally important match against Gen.G. The ticket to the 2025 World Championship has been secured, but if they can enter the main stage directly without having to play in the Play-in, it will also be an advantage. With their high performance, T1 will not want to drop to the seed 4 position, especially against a “formidable rival” like Gen.G.
