With GAM’s victory, coupled with Rogue’s (RGE) subsequent loss to DRX, TES had to return home after just the group stage.
Notably, alongside the players from TES and GAM’s thrilling victory, one name has been mentioned frequently: Doinb. The topic is once again his “famous” statement before the 2022 Worlds: “Apart from Gen.G Esports (Gen.G), no team can defeat the fourth seed of the LPL.” As of now, including the Play-In Stage, all four LPL representatives have been defeated. Notably, TES even lost to GAM – a team from a much smaller region compared to the LPL.
However, it seems Doinb wouldn’t be himself if he didn’t make observations or statements about the current state of the League of Legends (LoL) scene. Recently, the mid-laner of LNG Esports continued to express his views on the teams at Worlds 2022. Doinb has placed his full trust in Royal Never Give Up, despite the members of the “Royal Army” facing many health issues.
Additionally, Doinb highly rated JD Gaming, stating that LPL teams have a very low win rate whenever facing the reigning LPL Summer 2022 champions. Moreover, in the recent group stage, JDG only lost one match to DWG KIA (DK) in the second round.
In this 2022 Worlds, Doinb’s predictions about the journey of the LPL representatives have not been very accurate. But both JDG and RNG are very strong teams, and both of these teams absolutely have a chance to win the 2022 Worlds if their players perform focused and at their highest level.
