One of the standout matches of the first week of LPL Summer 2022 was the clash between Bilibili Gaming and LNG Esports. On one side is a team that recently made changes by welcoming the MSI 2022 champion – Bin to the Top Lane, while also saying goodbye to the legend Uzi. On the other side is a team with no changes and the main lineup remaining from Spring 2022. LPL fans were eager to see if BLG could perform as well as Doinb from LNG described them.

However, it turns out that BLG has yet to show they can truly shine. From every position, including Bin himself, they did not perform as fans expected. Moreover, Bin, being the MSI 2022 champion, has disappointed many even more. Especially in game 3, Bin was used as Gangplank, a very strong champion, but he did not contribute much to BLG’s gameplay.
But the highlight must be Doinb’s statement after the victorious debut of the “Suzhou Unicorns”. Accordingly, the Mid Laner of LNG confidently stated: “Today I only played at about 50% of my power. There are still many phases of the game where I did not perform well.”

It can be said that Doinb is incredibly confident after the successful opening match of LPL Summer 2022. But in reality, confidence has been a prominent trait of Doinb’s personality since he became famous in the League of Legends scene. Remember, during the 2021 World Championship, Doinb was also extremely confident when he asserted that FunPlus Phoenix would not lose any matches in the second round of the group stage.

Because of FPX’s poor results that year, Doinb’s statement became a topic of mockery in the League of Legends community whenever Doinb performed poorly. But perhaps, in this Summer 2022 season, he and his LNG teammates will show a brighter face for their highest goal, which is also shared by many teams in this LPL Summer: the championship title and a spot in the 2022 World Championship.
