This is the player who is currently the most out of form in T1
As of now, T1’s journey in Worlds 2025 cannot be called particularly stable. This team has had victories, but even when they win, they still haven’t fully reassured the audience. In particular, some positions in T1 seem to have yet to regain their peak performance. One of the positions that has been astonishingly “off-form” after a solid domestic season is Oner.

In recent matches, Oner has not shown that he is completely superior to his opponents, from Inspired to JunJia and most recently River of 100T. In fact, in the match against 100T on October 24, Oner even lost a Smite contest to River or was taken down early, leaving the objective for Gumayusi to handle. Previously, Oner also failed to control his jungle path well enough to allow T1 to optimize their advantages.

Oner’s drop in form may be T1’s biggest concern right now
Given the increasing importance of the jungler’s role, especially in the early stages where controlling areas is crucial to snowballing and gaining power spikes, Oner’s decline is particularly concerning. Moreover, in the seasons when T1 won the Worlds, there was a version that fans affectionately referred to as “Oner Premium”. Therefore, without Oner regaining his peak form, T1 will face challenges.

Nevertheless, Oner was still voted MVP of the match against 100T. This may be a perplexing paradox that even T1 fans cannot explain. Because anyone who watched the match could clearly see that T1 won both games thanks to Faker’s strong “clutch” plays and Gumayusi’s absolute stability more than anything else.
