As we know, the players of SE Esports are currently no longer able to participate in professional League of Legends or any other Esports activities of Riot due to penalties for negative behavior. Therefore, livestreaming seems to be the “lifeline” that SE players are turning to, both to keep their skills sharp and to earn additional income. Recently, Dia1 was the first SE player to go live after the recent drama.

However, it was not just a simple stream; during his first broadcast after the drama, Dia1 made accusations and shocking statements. First, kicking off the revelations, Dia1 accused GAM Esports of “everyone receiving money from the 2020 World Championship, even substitutes like Genza, but Dia1 did not receive any,” and that “GAM owes salaries for September and October, which is why Dia1 left the team.”
He even mentioned caster Hoàng Luân, COO Izumin, and former GAM players such as Genza as evidence for his claims, asserting that he had expressed his desire to leave but was ignored by GAM and the VCS organizers at that time.

Additionally, Dia1 claimed he is ready to sell information about VCS, including details about “Coach S” (who Dia1 confirmed is Coach Ren) and GAM in 2020. Furthermore, Dia1 stated that he holds a lot of information about VCS negativity, and if released, the tournament would be “broken.” However, he also mentioned that he would only target those who “have not treated him well” in the past.

Nevertheless, Dia1’s statements were not well received by the VCS community. Many argued that the evidence Dia1 provided was extremely vague. While the player claimed to possess evidence, he only spoke verbally when he could report it to the VCS organizers and, higher up, to Riot. Moreover, Dia1’s own involvement in negative behavior further undermined the credibility of the information he shared.

Currently, Dia1 is going through tough days. But if he continues to indulge in these dramas, the impression of a talented Mid Laner from VCS may gradually disappear, replaced instead by VCS fans’ frustration towards the former SE star.
