Despite the information that the VCS Winter 2021 may take place, several teams and players in the Vietnamese League of Legends scene have begun to make moves in the transfer market, as the “end of year transfer window” will soon occur this November.
The two most notable names recently appearing on the list of potential targets are Slayder and Levi. While the captain of GAM Esports has been allowed by his team to negotiate with other teams even before his contract ends, Slayder has already parted ways with Team Secret and is seeking an opportunity abroad.

Similar to Levi, Slayder is eager to test his skills in a new environment outside of VCS. The reasons may include personal development, or perhaps he is just too “disheartened” after winning the Vietnamese League of Legends championship twice without being able to participate in international tournaments.
In fact, compared to his senior at GAM, Slayder appears even more eager in finding a new home. He has started to be active on Twitter, posting self-introduction posts akin to a CV to seek opportunities.

Moreover, in recent days, netizens have discovered that Slayder has been continuously interacting with notable teams to proactively propose tryouts. Notably, G2 Esports and Team SoloMid are among them.
There have been many debates surrounding whether Slayder’s actions might devalue himself. However, considering that he cannot participate in any international tournaments, Slayder’s reputation and talent have yet to extend beyond Vietnam. To find opportunities in tournaments like the LEC or LCS, there is no other way than to proactively reach out and create opportunities for himself.

Hopefully, Slayder will find luck on his journey to seek a new home.
