The highlight of patch 10.11 is undoubtedly the complete transformation of Volibear, with 3 out of 4 skills completely revamped. Our Demigod now has a very different champion identity and playstyle compared to before; instead of just being a brutish attacker charging at enemies, the new Volibear has many more tools to engage, even being able to eliminate foes right under their turret.

This pertains to the reworked character; the next major update in this patch will be a comprehensive buff for Marksman champions. The four names Lucian, Tristana, Kalista, and Vayne will be buffed in different ways to make them more viable in the bot lane, rather than dominating in solo lanes. Additionally, Riot’s “favorite child” – Lux continues to receive buffs, albeit small, but with a significant impact. Specific changes include:
Volibear Champion Update
Details of Volibear’s Skill Set.
Fiddlesticks
The time for Fiddlesticks to become a scarecrow form increases from 1s to 2s.
Q – Terrify: If Fiddlesticks uses this skill while pretending to be a scarecrow, he will terrify the target.
W – Harvest: Damage dealt to monsters increases from 40% to 60% of skill damage.

Gangplank
Basic attack speed increases from 0.658 to 0.69.
Bug fix: The explosive damage from E – Powder Keg no longer stacks with the damage from the Hydroblade.
Graves
Q – Buckshot: The interaction ratio with AD for the first hit decreases from 1.0 to 0.8.
Hecarim
Q – Rampage damage increases from 55-215 to 60-228, damage reduction against minions increases from 33.3% to 40%.

Janna
W – Howling Gale damage reduced from 55/90/125/160/195 to 55/85/115/145/175.
Kai’Sa
Q – Icathian Rain increases the interaction ratio with bonus AD from 35% to 40%.
R – Killer Instinct increases range from 1500-2500 to 1500-3000.
Lux
E – Light Binding will slow enemies for 1s after exploding instead of 0.25s.

Syndra
E – Scatter the Weak cooldown increased from 16/15/14/13/12s to 18/17/16/15/14s.
Talon
Q – Noxian Diplomacy increases energy cost to 40, healing on takedown reduced from 20-71 to 10-70 based on champion level.
Changes for Marksmen
All Marksmen receive a 30 base health increase and 2 additional health per level (except Lucian, Vayne, Tristana, and Vayne due to receiving separate updates, and Corki, Kindred, Graves, Senna as they typically play in non-Marksman roles).
Lucian
The second shot from the passive now deals 100% critical damage instead of 75%.

Kalista
W – Sentinel damage increases from 10/12/14/16/18% to 14/15/16/17/18% of the target’s maximum health, energy cost reduced to 0.
Tristana
Base attack speed increases from 0.656 to 0.679.
Vayne
Q – Tumble increases bonus damage from 50/55/60/65/70% to 60/65/70/75/80%.

Twin Blades: Movement speed bonus increases from 5% to 7%.
Guinsoo’s Rageblade, Rapid Firecannon, Statikk Shiv: Movement speed bonus increases from 5% to 7%.
Runaan’s Hurricane: Movement speed bonus increases from 7% to 9%.

Overall, these changes from Riot Games are quite minor and do not significantly impact the power of the champions being adjusted. For Marksmen, the most valuable update is likely the increase in movement speed from items like Twin Blades, meaning kiting and dealing continuous damage will be much better. Among the four specific updates for Lucian, Kalista, Tristana, and Vayne, Kalista will likely be the one most associated with the upcoming Marksman role.

For Lux, the increase in the slow duration of E – Light Binding to 1s may seem small, but it has a significant impact on both mid-lane and support roles. This will make it easier for her to activate extra damage from her passive since enemies will be slowed for longer after the E ability explodes, and it also sets up ganks or disrupts enemy objectives much better. In summary, Lux in the upcoming patch will be relatively stronger in all positions.
