Before Gumayusi, a number of T1 superstars like Faker and Zeus were also ‘victims’ of one of the most extreme anti-fan groups.
Recently, the anti-fan group considered to be the most dangerous in Korea has continued its attacks directed at Gumayusi. Personal information about his family, even the location where Gumayusi’s family often goes to pray, has been leaked on social media. Following that, funeral vehicles and wreaths have been sent to T1’s headquarters. This extremely aggressive anti-fan group is known as the T1 Minor Support Gallery, and before Guma, several T1 stars like Zeus and Faker were also ‘victims’.

After Gumayusi extended his contract with T1, this group shifted its focus to demanding Zeus leave the team. They have taken actions such as sending protest trucks to T1’s headquarters to express their dissent, and even hope for T1 to fail in the semifinals and finals to pressure a roster change.

But even when Zeus actually left the team, this group continued its extreme actions directed at both T1 and the HLE newcomer. However, most of the attacks are still directed at Gumayusi. Previously, according to some viewers, this group “infiltrated” various T1 fan groups by using profile pictures or names resembling the nicknames of the players. However, these accounts later made comments hoping for T1 to lose at the World Championship or mocked Faker.

Additionally, LCK fans also assert that this group does not support any team or player but will “anti anyone they like”. Therefore, this group is not welcomed by any fan community, leading them to decide to self-organize and operate together.

Extreme Actions Targeting Gumayusi and T1 Will Not Stop
Although they cause many viewers to misunderstand them as “Faker’s die-hard fans”, when their true colors are revealed, it seems nothing can stop this anti-fan group. In fact, even if Gumayusi leaves the team at the end of the season, another player may continue to be a victim.

Despite many fan forums publicly criticizing this extreme anti-fan group, the situation clearly has not changed. And it is very likely that if T1 does not take any strong measures, the players will continue to be “victims” while the “culprits” roam freely as if nothing happened.
