In the past 3 weeks of LCK Summer 2020, we can see a clear division in standings. At the top, we have DragonX with 6 consecutive wins, followed closely from 2nd to 5th place, where the difference is just one win, with T1, Gen.G, and Afreeca Freecs all tied on points. Finally, at the bottom are Team Dynamic and below.

This order has been maintained over the past 3 weeks; however, it is likely to be disrupted in the upcoming 4th week as matches between top teams will occur continuously. First up is the match between Afreeca Freecs and Damwon Gaming, and when we think of these two names, we must mention the top lane where Kiin and Nuguri are two standout stars.
In terms of form and match results, Damwon Gaming is undoubtedly rated much higher since they had previously defeated T1 2-0 last week, thus showcasing their caliber. Meanwhile, Afreeca Freecs seems more like a team that “bullies” those at the bottom rather than a team with real strength, as they suffered a swift 0-2 defeat against both T1 and DragonX.

The second “highlight” match of this week still features Damwon Gaming, but their opponent is DragonX, a team that is currently “undefeated” in LCK. DragonX has a quite comprehensive lineup as their weaknesses in the top and jungle roles are gradually being improved, with Doran and Pyosik performing better each day, helping DRX to have a great start towards the championship. The upcoming match against DWG will be a true test for DRX’s ambitions.

In the context where direct rivals continuously face off, the biggest beneficiaries will surely be T1 led by “Chairman” Faker. T1’s schedule this week is extremely light as they only face a timid Team Dynamic (who have lost to top teams) and SeolHaeOne Prince, who are at the bottom of the standings. T1 fans can completely trust in two swift 2-0 victories this week, potentially closing in on the top position on the leaderboard.
