When talking about the legendary AWP-ers of CS:GO, we can’t overlook the name Kenny “kennyS” Schrub. The 25-year-old French player’s career has spanned nearly a decade, from CS:S to its successor CS:GO. Throughout this illustrious career, he has played for many prestigious French teams such as VeryGames, Team LDLC, Titan, and most recently, G2 Esports. He has lifted trophies at dozens of major and minor tournaments, with the most prestigious being the DreamHack Open Cluj-Napoca 2015, the 7th Major ever held.

Personally, he has been named MVP of the tournaments he participated in 10 times and has made 5 appearances on the HLTV’s list of the top 20 players of the year. kennyS is known for his highly aggressive AWP playstyle and his precise flick shots at high speed, which have become his trademark.
Last weekend, G2 Esports announced that kennyS has been benched and jaCkz has returned to the active roster. This news did not come as a surprise as both kennyS and the G2 team have not been performing at their best recently and have not achieved any significant results. After this decision was made, kennyS expressed his gratitude to the fans for their support and trust, affirming that he will continue to play CS and seek a new home that suits him.
However, last night a source unexpectedly reported that the 25-year-old player is in the process of trialing with the Valorant team of Alliance. Nevertheless, the source also revealed that kennyS has not made an official decision, as he still has other plans with CS:GO.

This information quickly spread and stirred up the community of both shooting games. Recently, many CS:GO pro players have chosen to test their skills in Valorant; notable mentions include Autimatic (former player of Gen.G, Cloud9) or Jamppi (former player of ENCE) and most recently, Ethan, a former member of EG.
Just hours later, kennyS reassured fans by denying this rumor on his Twitter. Specifically, he shared that “Valorant is a great game, but right now I still want to continue playing CS.”

The future of kennyS remains uncertain, even though G2 Esports has allowed him to freely seek a new home. In recent days, kennyS has focused on streaming on his personal Twitch channel, while also planning to set up a YouTube channel to interact with fans and develop his image.
