In a statement after their crushing victory over KT, Keria mentioned: “Although the MSI championship has to wait, T1 is still very eager for the LCK title and especially for Worlds. Winning Worlds three times in a row would be a unique record. But our fans are cheering us on, and that is a tremendous motivation for us to repay them.”
If T1 can indeed win Worlds for the third consecutive time, it could be established as the greatest team in esports history. Because if we compare, with a tournament of similar stature like The International, no team has ever won these tournaments three times in a row.
The match against HLE will be a measure of T1’s ambitions
