Bin Claims to Be the “Strongest Top Laner Currently”
To put it mildly, in the 2024 season, BLG is the dominant team in the LPL region, having won both the Spring and Summer Split titles. Among them, Bin is seen as a stable player who frequently “carries” the game for BLG with his exceptional skills. Therefore, many experts consider Bin to be the top LPL player of the past season. In fact, in an interview with Sheep Esports, Bin boldly claimed to be the “strongest top laner currently.”

“I think that in the current season, whether in the LPL or MSI, I feel like I have demonstrated the strength of the strongest top laner. I also believe that I am the strongest top laner at Worlds 2024 this year. I have proven that in the past and will continue to do so in the upcoming big tournament,” Bin confidently shared with Sheep Esports from Europe.
Former Worlds Champions Fire Back at Bin
Immediately after Bin’s interview was widely shared, it generated a lot of mixed opinions aimed at this player. Even LPL fans disagreed with Bin, arguing that he failed to conquer MSI 2024. Even former Worlds champions like Kingen and Impact were “burned” by Bin’s excessive confidence, stating that he could only make such claims if he had an international title.
“The title of the strongest top laner belongs to the player who won Worlds last year. Therefore, I believe Zeus deserves to be the strongest top laner currently. If Bin thinks he is the strongest, he needs to win Worlds this year to prove it,” Kingen candidly shared with the press.

“To be honest, Bin is a player with very high skills and he has what it takes to become the strongest top laner. However, I think it would be better if he said this after winning Worlds this year. Confidence is a good thing and I respect Bin for that, but he needs a title to validate his words,” Impact also agreed.

Bin Needs the Worlds 2024 Title to Validate His Claims
Indeed, when it comes to individual skills, Bin is an outstanding player who can defeat many opponents in lane. However, League of Legends (especially in the professional environment) is not simply about winning the lane to win the match. Therefore, aside from being a strong laner, Bin still needs to prove many things to deserve the title of “strongest top laner currently.”

In fact, BLG is currently a significant hope for the LPL region at this year’s Worlds as they hold the number one seed. Moreover, the LPL region has gone through a very difficult season and needs a significant boost like the Worlds 2024 title to bounce back strongly. Perhaps Bin understands this, which is why he made such a confident statement to motivate himself. Hopefully, Bin and the BLG team will perform at a high level and truly prove what they say. Otherwise, BLG may very well become a major “laughing stock” at this year’s Worlds.
