May 22 can be seen as the most important competition day for the Vietnam LoL team in their journey to win gold at SEA Games 31. On this day, the Vietnam team will face off against the Philippines – a team that has overcome Malaysia to continue their hopes of winning a gold medal in LoL at SEA Games 31.

On the finals day, we cannot overlook the large crowd of supporters who came to the National Convention Center to cheer for the Vietnam team members. Everyone hopes and believes that Levi and his teammates will win the gold medal. Especially, the team will dedicate their best and most serious performances, as Vietnam is considered to be much stronger than the Philippines in terms of skill.

The Vietnamese players demonstrated seriousness and maximum focus, just as the audience expected. The evidence is that while the Philippines made skill-oriented picks, Vietnam focused on comfortable picks that fit the meta. Additionally, as the match began, each member of the Vietnam team played with immense effort. All aimed for convincing victories to bring the gold medal home for Vietnam.
Once the Vietnamese players dedicated all their focus to the game, the Philippines had almost no chance. In all three matches, Vietnam completely dominated and finished the games very quickly. In fact, the Vietnamese players didn’t even wait for the appearance of Baron buffs, as Rift Herald was more than enough.

With this victory, the Vietnam team officially brought the gold medal in LoL back to the country. Not just a win, but victories that clearly showcase the caliber of Vietnam’s LoL scene compared to other countries in Southeast Asia. Additionally, what stands out is the absolute professionalism of these Vietnamese players as they consistently show respect for their opponents and give their all in the game.

For the Philippines, the defeat against Vietnam leaves them with only a silver medal. However, the efforts of the Philippine team cannot be denied. Moreover, the camaraderie between the two teams and the picks of Yone and Yasuo will surely leave a lasting impression on the Vietnamese audience about the Philippine LoL team at SEA Games 31.
