Yesterday, during our interview with player VaneLove, the captain of Hanoi highly praised Xuan Thu, a player of AoE, who according to VaneLove is the most improved name in the Vietnamese Age of Empires community over the past two years. Therefore, in response to the question about his feelings regarding his brother, the captain of the Hanoi team, Xuan Thu shared: “VaneLove is a brother, a true teacher in the 44 Random team of Hanoi. It may be that many of his abilities have been affected by age, but his experience and thinking in 44 Random play are absolutely top-notch. I consider myself lucky to have played alongside VaneLove many times, so now compared to before, my solo or team skills have really changed”
We have quoted VaneLove’s evaluations of his disciple, and in response to the question about his feelings when VaneLove rated him as the most improved player in the Vietnamese AoE community, Xuan Thu shared: “In fact, right now, I am not afraid to solo against any player except Chim Se and to some extent BiBi. I’ve faced Chipboy, HeHe as well, and soon I will probably try my skills against Hong Anh. In Random Solo, the choice of civilization plays a major role, except for Chim Se because his skill has reached an outstanding level. As for U98, I see that he is also very talented and has been paired with Chim Se Di Nang many times, so in the future, aside from the U96 generation, he will truly be my biggest rival”
I do everything to have many people watch my livestream, because without a contract with Facebook Gaming, it would be difficult to pursue my passion.
When asked whether he wants to stick with the career of an AoE player, the talent from the AoE Hanoi clan shared: “In fact, from the beginning, I had determined to pursue my passion. There have been periods of making choices, but I still choose AoE. Currently, I am also fortunate to be a partner of Facebook Gaming, and the income from this contract is enough for me to pursue my passion. However, to be honest, for the younger generation of players like us, attracting viewers to our livestreams is not simple. The reputation of the top 1 players is solid, but the top names always receive the most favor from the audience. Therefore, if we want to continue to have enough income to live and pursue our passion, I must strive to prove to the viewers that I deserve their support. And that is why I set a goal in the past two years to further improve my AoE skills. When you get stronger, it means more people will watch you compete. I always think and act for that. I must strive to compete so that more people watch my livestream to keep my passion alive”
From Xuan Thu’s story, it can be seen that to establish a place and pursue a passion for being an AoE player, every player in the AoE community has had and will have to strive a lot.
