Recently, Riot Games released a short documentary revealing the development roadmap for League of Legends in the near future, featuring a series of events, new champions, and skin lines set to launch.
In this documentary, a representative from Riot Games revealed the complete plan for developing the upcoming in-game events. First, League of Legends will welcome two popular skin lines: Ultimate Weapon and Pool Party, featuring Pantheon and Taliyah.
Champions who have not had skins for a long time, such as Bard and Skarner, will also receive their own skin groups, with Bard’s Astronaut skin being an example. Both Taliyah Pool Party and Bard Astronaut are products inspired by the community.

Additionally, the two most beloved limited-time game modes in League of Legends, URF and Nexus Blitz, will officially return. URF is expected to return in version 10.10, coinciding with the launch of the next skin series from the Ultimate Weapon universe, while Nexus Blitz will return with a brand new version during the summer event.

Regarding the roadmap for new champions, after Volibear’s rework in May, Riot Games plans to introduce two new champions simultaneously, including one jungler and one champion with the ability to be immortal.
In fact, the release plan for new champions by Riot Games has been significantly delayed due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, thus the release of these two champions will be closely aligned. There’s a high possibility these will be the last two champions launched in 2020.

Therefore, through the clip above, we can summarize some upcoming events in League of Legends as follows:
– URF will return in version 10.10 along with the Ultimate Weapon skin event.
– Nexus Blitz may return in June during the Summer Festival event.
– Volibear rework will be released in May, followed by the introduction of 2 new champions.
Of course, the Ultimate Weapon and Pool Party skins are not the only products Riot Games is launching; these are just two skin lines tied to two major upcoming events this summer.
