One of the most anticipated things in the Vietnamese League of Legends (LoL) community over the past few days, alongside the results of intense matches, is the final decision from Riot and the organizers of VCS regarding the situation of SE. Up to this point, this incident has stirred a lot of commotion in the Vietnamese LoL community and has affected many players and teams. In fact, the Vietnamese LoL team for ASIAD had to replace 3 players who were previously part of SE with 3 new names: Kati, Artemis, and Bie.

However, recently, fans have discovered and raised suspicions about another player currently competing in VCS who could become a new subject of investigation. In the recent match against MGN Box Esports, Team Secret used both Hiro02 and Hasmed – the two Top Lane players of the team. Notably, Hiro02 took on the Mid Lane role, replacing Artifact. This raised questions about Artifact’s absence. Importantly, the reason for Artifact’s inability to compete has not yet been announced by TS as of now. On the other hand, according to information from the specialized site Wiki LoL, the young player Aress has been promoted to TS as a substitute, and he is a Mid Lane player.

The suspicion surrounding Artifact partly arises because the Mid Lane of TS once played for SE. Furthermore, not long ago, Celebrity also admitted that the match of their team against GMedia Luxury (GLX) indeed had issues. If the VCS organizers begin investigating from the time SE was first established (2021), then Artifact is likely to be implicated and have to undergo an investigation.

However, these are merely opinions from the VCS audience, and everyone will have to wait for the investigation results from Riot, the VCS organizers, and relevant authorities (if any). But based on what has been shown, it can be assured that this will be a “major explosion” for VCS when everything is revealed. For the audience, it is important to stay rational and follow official sources to avoid impacting the players and teams of VCS, whether or not they are related to the SE incident.
