T1 and Gumayusi Fans Act “Out of Control”
These days, as the T1 – Gumayusi – Smash drama is drawing significant attention, every action from T1 or the involved players can easily spark new controversies. Recently, T1 announced their livestream schedule for late March 2025, which immediately ignited new debates. Notably, when T1’s official Weibo page published a post, many T1 fans and Gumayusi fans in Vietnam rushed in to attack the team on Weibo.

However, this was somewhat an… excessive action from the Gumayusi and T1 fans in Vietnam. The League of Legends community both domestically and internationally understands that T1 is currently in turmoil and Gumayusi himself is facing difficulties. But that doesn’t mean that the fans of this team or the 2002-born Marksman can disturb other viewers across all fronts with endless criticisms.

Immediately, many LPL League of Legends viewers began to attack these fans and created a chaotic scene beneath T1’s Weibo post. Numerous fan clubs of T1 and Gumayusi in Vietnam had to call for fans to delete comments and maintain calm in a situation that is still unclear and unresolved as it stands.

T1 and Gumayusi Fans as well as the League of Legends Community Need to Stay Calm
With almost absolute attention on Gumayusi – Smash and the upcoming lineup, it can be said that T1 has achieved the desired media effects, although the approach may be negative. Moreover, building a large number of anti-fans against Gumayusi is not lesser than his fans, which could “help” Smash secure a stable audience in the early days of the show.
In fact, the act of anti-fans gifting Smash could also mean that this group of anti-fans will donate and buy merch related to Smash if these products are available for sale in the future. And this is a gain for T1.

Therefore, audiences, especially T1 and Gumayusi fans, need to truly remain calm and avoid excessive actions. Not only does it tarnish the image of Vietnamese League of Legends fans in the eyes of the international community, but it can also bring negativity and pressure to the players in the future.
