In every competitive season, there are champions that stand out as significantly stronger than others and are frequently chosen. Looking back at MSI 2023, we can identify several champions that have been picked (or banned) repeatedly in each position, such as Aphelios, Jinx, and Vi, Annie. Particularly, in the Top Lane, the champion K’Sante, released in late 2022, has been a standout.

Since its appearance in the professional arena, K’Sante has proven to be an incredibly versatile choice. With the durability of a fighter, the ability to charge in, and high damage output, K’Sante does not require many items to be effective. Furthermore, he is also an excellent choice for engaging and splitting up the enemy team.

Recently, ShowMaker, the Mid Laner for DPlus KIA (DK), has once again experienced the power of K’Sante, despite the champion having undergone some adjustments by Riot after MSI 2023. However, K’Sante from the opposing team still appeared overwhelmingly strong. In that match, ShowMaker’s team lost, and in one engagement, despite being attacked multiple times, K’Sante was not taken down.

ShowMaker was so frustrated that he made a plea to Riot live on stream: “A champion with 4700 health, 329 armor, 201 magic resistance, an uninterruptible skill, a shield, a wall-jumping ability, multi-target damage, a cooldown of just 1 second, and only costs 15 energy. The W ability (Pathmaker) doesn’t even have a cooldown when he changes form. K’Sante also has true damage based on his passive. Furthermore, when stacking armor and magic resistance, he gains additional speed. On top of that, he has the attack range of a marksman. Riot, please do something, nerf K’Sante immediately!”

According to many opinions, ShowMaker has perfectly summarized K’Sante’s power in just a brief statement. This champion has been very strong since MSI 2023 and earlier in the Spring Split. Riot has made adjustments, but based on ShowMaker’s experience, it seems those adjustments have not been effective, especially with the Summer Split fast approaching.
