Being quite a famous name in the Vietnamese gaming community, the League of Legends account with the nickname “Beer” is known as one of the “biggest” accounts on the Vietnam server, boasting an impressive collection of skins and items that is hard to match.
However, recently, the owner of this account surprisingly announced his farewell to League of Legends after losing his brand in-game name “Beer” due to a “confusing” operational mechanism from Riot Games.
Specifically, this gamer stated that the name Beer is the in-game nickname that has been associated with him throughout 8 years of pursuing League of Legends, and he often switched names from his main account to a secondary one without any issues. However, upon logging into his League of Legends account recently, he received a notification that the name Beer was “no longer available” due to inactivity for too long, and he was forced to change to another nickname.

Ironically, the IGN Beer has been taken by another player after this account’s IGN was deactivated, and the original gamer cannot reclaim his old name. On his personal Facebook, the owner of one of Vietnam’s most prominent League of Legends accounts expressed his disappointment and frustration when the familiar name linked to his nearly 10-year “try-hard” journey in League of Legends was taken away for a rather rare reason.
This gamer also announced his retirement after failing to reclaim his old name, while offering to sell his full skin, full item League of Legends account to other players who still have the passion.
To sell the account, this gamer also revealed once again the astonishing statistics he possesses. Specifically, this could be considered the first League of Legends account in Vietnam to have a full collection of skins and items, including all Chromas, Ward Skins, Emotes, Champion Icons, Pets, and TFT Boards, and even has over 9000 RP left along with enough 2020 Prestige Tokens to redeem the skin for Dark Star Zyra.
To own this extremely valuable item collection, the aforementioned gamer stated that he had invested hundreds of millions, even billions of VND into the game, while always being a top name in the RP recharge events of the publisher.

Not only does he own an extremely impressive amount of in-game “assets”, the owner of this account is also known for his try-hard team, holding the Challenger rank in League of Legends on the Vietnam server, while also reaching Level 1884, placing him among the top levels in League of Legends Vietnam.
In addition, he was also the owner of a professional League of Legends team – New Power Esports, as well as making significant contributions to the development of the Esports community in Vietnam.
Thus, “Beer”‘s announcement of his retirement has brought a lot of regret to League of Legends gamers, as “Beer” is not only a desirable symbol for countless players with an “ultra-rich” in-game asset but he is also an extremely passionate gamer, among the “giants” with remarkable contributions to the development of the League of Legends community in Vietnam.
