With less than 24 hours to go, VCS Spring 2024 will officially kick off. In this new season, there will be many surprises for the audience. The most notable change is that almost all teams will have some personnel changes. Notably, this will be the first year since 2017 that the brand Young Generations/Dashing Buffalo/Young Buffalo/Phong Vũ Buffalo or Saigon Buffalo will not appear in the VCS anymore. Additionally, the tournament will see the return of many familiar faces like Sty1e, 2T… in new colors.

Recently, the VCS organizing committee announced the list of hosts/casters who will participate in managing the tournament. And at this moment, the real surprise has arrived. Accordingly, after many years of returning and gradually building a brand and gaining the audience’s affection, once again, host Minh Nghi will be absent from the trio of VCS hosts. Joining her in this unfortunate situation is the beautiful host Mai Dora. Notably, Host Mai Dora has gradually gained a large fanbase after initially facing many challenges and controversies.

But besides the absence of host Minh Nghi and Mai Dora, it is even more regrettable that a series of famous casters like Hoàng Luân, Văn Tùng, or Ling Cao Thủ are also not appearing at VCS Spring 2024. From this point, many viewers have speculated that it may be due to the tournament’s management not being in harmony with the organization of these casters, leading to a lack of cooperation. Caster Hoàng Luân admitted that he always wanted to work at VCS, so it would be hard for him to refuse the tournament this year without external influences.

Of course, these are just the audience’s predictions. VCS Spring 2024 will still feature familiar faces who are highly regarded for their expertise, such as host Remind, caster Hữu Trung, Bá Điền… However, it is clear that the absence of these familiar faces will still leave VCS fans somewhat disappointed and could potentially cause VCS Spring 2024 to “cool down”.
