Zeka is probably the happiest with HLE’s victory
Recently, HLE had an exciting match and secured a victory against Gen.G – a very tough opponent for the “Orange House” and currently the “king of LCK”. Aside from Gen.G’s own instability, HLE truly had the best possible match day, especially in game 2, with no unnecessary “hype” moments. Among the players, Zeka is likely the one with the most special emotions regarding this victory.
Throughout his career since debuting in the LCK, even after defeating Gen.G to claim the LCK championship, or previously the World Championship title holder, Zeka had never managed to win against Chovy’s Gen.G in BO3 matches. This means that after more than 3 years, only in the recent match did Zeka achieve his first victory against the veteran across the battlefield.
Even more meaningful, this victory comes with the POM award for Zeka, making him the player with the most POMs in the LCK 2026 Rounds 1-2 after 3 weeks of play. This is also a surprising result, as Zeka was thought to not be in his best form after HLE’s defeats to T1 from the 2025 KeSPA Cup until the end of the first week of competition.
HLE is on the right track, but maintaining form is crucial
After 3 weeks of play, HLE is showing a bright new face compared to their performance in both the KeSPA Cup and the first week of LCK 2026 Rounds 1-2. All HLE players are demonstrating good gameplay and form. However, it is clear that the important thing is for HLE to maintain this state throughout the year to secure more victories and conquer titles.
