T1 Wins but Still Has Issues
After a series of tough opponents, especially following the bitter loss to DK, T1 faced KRX like a “healing remedy” that arrived just in time. Currently, although the “Blue Dragon” had impressive matches, it seems they have “returned to earth” and certainly are not the match for a T1 that desperately needed a win to lift their spirits. In fact, when Faker brought Azir into battle, it was clear how determined T1 was to win.

However, there is a truth: in both games, T1 had its issues. In the first game, they had advantages but got caught in KRX’s “tit-for-tat” style of play. Especially, if it weren’t for Ucal’s extremely regrettable mistake at the end of game 1, when the game was stable enough for the “Blue Dragon” to continue holding on, T1 might not have won, as the champions of T1 weakened further as the match progressed while KRX steadily increased in power.

Game 2 saw T1 dominate even more, but there were still many moments where the reigning world champions made real mistakes that allowed their opponents to capitalize. However, of course, with Faker and Oner both using their signature champions and determined to win, just one small mistake would lead to KRX’s downfall, and that was how T1 clinched victory in this tense BO3 match.

T1 Can Rest Easy for Now
With the victory over KRX, T1 closes the third week with 1 win – 1 loss. This result is sufficient for T1 to feel somewhat at ease. However, to truly gauge if T1 has regained their confidence, fans may still need to see formidable opponents for the reigning world champions in the upcoming weeks of competition.
