Spectacular Victory for Vietnam’s Arena of Valor Team
Just moments ago, Vietnam’s Arena of Valor (men’s category) team officially became the champion of SEA Games 33 with an incredibly dominant performance. Following the success of the women’s team, the five talented players Huy Hoàng, Nhật Hào, Quốc Huy, Bình Khánh, Thành Duy, and Văn Dũng claimed the precious Gold Medal right on Thai soil. Their path to glory was blocked by none other than their long-time rivals, Thailand.

With the player roster from Buriram United Esports, Thailand was immediately considered the toughest opponent this SEA Games season. However, on the other side, the performance of the FPT x Flash members, the young warriors who had just recently won the domestic championship, was impressive.
Therefore, the clash between Vietnam and Thailand was not too surprising. However, the way Vietnam won decisively, “destroying” their opponent with a score of 4-2, left everyone stunned and elated.
No Mistakes, Vietnam’s Team Marches to Gold
Taking the lead against Thailand by 1 point, Vietnam’s team surprisingly “slipped” as they suffered a disappointing loss in the second game. It seemed that these two teams would engage in a tight race, but on a day full of resilience, the five young men did not allow Thailand to recover any opportunities.

In game 3, the bottom lane duo Nhật Hào and Thành Duy were locked into their “signature champions.” Soaring and flying high, Nhật Hào’s Elsu seemed to be targeted, “firing” each shot with precision that left the Thai team in disarray. In game 4, Thành Duy’s brilliance made the fans erupt with joy. Each push and setup for Quốc Huy to “command the battlefield” in team fights was smooth, perfectly synchronized. Thus, the pivotal game was established, amid the confusion and disorientation of the Thai players.

In game 5, Quốc Huy chose the champion Maloch, perhaps to pay tribute to the legendary Xuân Bách’s “hell” play from years ago. However, unfortunately, the Vietnamese team was too hasty to end the match. As a result, they were defeated when the opponents’ base had only about 1000 health left, leading to a heartbreaking “turnaround,” making the final score 3-2.

In the final match, the Vietnamese team easily chose their signature combo “Aya – Taara” that made their brand. Just waiting for that, the whole team calmly and confidently pushed Thailand back to defend, utilizing the Demon Lord buff to gradually gain the upper hand and achieve a decisive victory. Finally, after 6 years, Vietnam’s Arena of Valor has reclaimed the championship amidst the joy of the fans. Hopefully, with this impressive achievement, Vietnamese gamers will reach even further in the upcoming tournaments.
