The Hyper Roll Fire composition once dominated the early stages of Season 2 of Teamfight Tactics but seemed to have vanished from the meta.
However, not long ago, Châu Đại Hiệp amazed viewers with a Hyper Roll Fire team setup, using 3 Iron Solari Chains to make a comeback from 8th place to 1st.

Châu’s incredible comeback was thanks to the Hyper Roll strategy for the Fire team and the use of Iron Solari Chains on the 3-star champion Diana, providing a significant amount of armor for the team.
Since then, many have started to re-examine the strength of this composition following buffs for Zyra and Diana in patch 10.5. Here’s how to play it effectively.
Starting Out
Acquiring Iron Solari Chains and having at least one 3-star champion in your team is crucial, as the Fire composition lacks early-game tanks and most Fire champions need to take damage to gain mana for their skills. Therefore, in the first shop round, prioritize picking up a Giant’s Staff and a Chain Vest.
Next, let’s build the team:

Try to use Fire champions that can easily reach 2-stars, such as Diana and Zyra, and combine them with other champions you have to maintain health during the early game. Aim to accumulate as much gold as possible since you will need at least 40 gold to roll after finishing the Krug round.
After the Krug round, roll down to about 10 gold to aim for either a 3-star Zyra, Diana, or ideally both. At the same time, buy Sion, Malzahar, and Kindred if they appear, so you have a strong team at level 5 with (3) Fire and (3) Shadow. Continue to accumulate gold and roll gradually if Zyra or Diana hasn’t reached 3-stars yet.
Mid-game Phase

Having (6) Fire is more important than retaining (3) Shadow due to the main damage coming from Diana, Zyra, and the remaining Fire champions. Try to form your team at level 7 after the Wolf round as shown above.
You can keep Sion to add to the team when you reach level 8; however, retain Malzahar or replace him with Yorick to activate (3) Summon Tibber’s Bear from Annie, which increases the health and duration of Zyra’s skill.
Late-game Phase

After the Mutant Birds round is the best time to level up to 8; before that, during any shop round, try to acquire Amumu as early as possible.

The early game is crucial because if during the rolling process you notice too few Zyra or Diana due to luck or others competing for the same champions, switch to a Shadow composition if you have Kindred, Malzahar, and Sion.
