For Fiddlesticks, his current design clearly does not fit a horror-themed backstory, and as soon as Riot Games teased the reworked image of this scarecrow, the gaming community was in awe of its impressive presentation. After receiving positive feedback from players, last night, on the final moments of “Friday the 13th,” Riot Games officially released the Teaser Trailer for the reworked version of Fiddlesticks.
The trailer, which is nothing short of a horror movie, once again has League of Legends fans gasping. Clearly, Riot is on the right track in crafting a new image for Fiddlesticks that embodies terror, just as his backstory and skill set suggest.
Another highlight is the title of the teaser: “Terror in Demacia.” It seems that the new Fiddlesticks will officially “move his residence” to Demacia, and interestingly, a nation that despises magic like Demacia has been repeatedly plagued by crises, conflicts, and dangers related to magic.
Following the rebellion of Sylas, the people of Demacia may face a new threat, a grotesque and terrifying demon emerging from the shadows, named Fiddlesticks.
According to the new lore, Fiddlesticks is an ancient demon in the world of Runeterra, no one knows his origins, only that he shows no signs of being a living creature, lacking internal organs, and even a brain to think with, he kills and threatens humans as part of his existence.
The reworked Fiddlesticks is expected to be officially introduced to the gaming community in the upcoming patch 10.6. After many years filled with whimsical and bright games with Star Guardians or Cat vs. Dog battles, it seems that League of Legends is ready to welcome the arrival of the ultimate nightmare named Fiddlesticks.
