In Teamfight Tactics Season 3: Infinite Galaxy, Riot Games has introduced many new champions, origins, and items. To avoid becoming a “newbie” when Season 3 arrives, you should explore the basic, “easy to play, easy to win” compositions, and from there adapt and master the Infinite Galaxy version.
Here are a few of the simplest and easiest compositions in Season 3:
Jinx Carry Composition

This is one of the basic compositions in Season 3 because it is built around many cheap champions that can still be effective into the late game.
Specifically, Jinx will be the main source of damage, and Blitzcrank at the front will pull a target in, allowing Jinx to activate her passive for an early kill. Shen and Malphite will be the two main tanks. Behind Jinx, Ezreal and Lucian can also deal damage before Jinx is available. However, once Jinx is in play, Ezreal should stay at the back to shield Jinx from skills like Blitzcrank’s pull.
Especially in the late game, you can enhance damage output with the 5-cost champion Miss Fortune while also activating 4 Gunner for a stronger Jinx. Moreover, Miss Fortune’s skill scales with % health, so she doesn’t require too many items and can also power up with gold, making her very suitable for this composition.
Standard Damage Composition

Basically, the Sorcerer composition in Season 3 is more powerful than in Season 2 as it boosts the spell power for the entire team. Additionally, this composition focuses solely on Vel’Koz, eliminating the need for activations like Water from Season 2.
As mentioned above, this composition revolves entirely around Vel’Koz with 2 main activations: 6 Sorcerers (increasing spell power by 80%) and Void (Void champions deal true damage). Together with items like Rod of Ages, Morello’s Evil Tome, Vel’Koz can wipe out the entire enemy team with just one skill. Defensive items should include Thief’s Glove or Zhonya’s Hourglass to avoid skill interruptions.
Regarding other champions, Kha’Zix can also deal massive damage thanks to the Void activation, allowing him to jump backline and finish off low-health targets. Cho’Gath will be the main tank at the front with Guardian Angel. The remaining sorcerers can provide crowd control and deal damage.
Note: Vel’Koz can still be stunned and interrupted when the opponent breaks Thief’s Glove. A tip is to equip Cho’Gath with items like Iceborn Gauntlet to use skills early and break the opponent’s Thief’s Glove.
Shadow Composition

There are two main reasons why the Shadow composition is on this list: the composition has a lot of carries and features champions ranging from 1 to 4 cost, making it very easy to build.
In terms of the composition, you can choose one of three Shadow champions as your carry: Mordekaiser (strong in dealing damage, generating shields, and healing), Shaco (strong in one-shot potential and draining full health in one hit), and Jhin (his every fourth shot is a kill). Items should be focused on one carry to reach the power threshold early.
For supporting champions, crowd control will be ensured by Lux, Lulu, and Rakan. The frontline will feature sturdy champions, with Mordekaiser being the strongest. Since the passive of Shadow champions stacks infinitely, you should collect as many Shadow Hearts as possible to increase passive damage.
